It made me appreciate even more how my son and husband support their friends.
When my daughter, @sophiesymone, was 5 years old, When my daughter, @sophiesymone, was 5 years old, she told me she wanted to build autonomous vehicles and robots. When she was 6, after much research, I found @blackgirlscode, which provided low-cost and free opportunities for my daughter to explore her interests in technology. Nine years later, she knows multiple coding languages, built an AI tool to teach her French (she’s a polyglot), and so much more.

Now, she’s 15 and building her network with technologists, thought & community leaders.
