I took a personality test and it described my whole mutha–effing life and it made me rethink some things.

When I first started my role, my new boss told me to take a personality test so she could be understand my working style so I had this on my radar. Today, my husband resent me a link from the year prior and insisted I take it during lunch. I emailed him the results, he immediately called me and I answered like:

“Why did this personality test tell me my entire f—ing life.”

My mind is blown y’all.

Me as a friend

I’m cheerful and supportive, always sharing and developing ideas, and staying open-minded, taking in others’ thoughts and feelings. Mind blown, this is totally me!!! This is why I have 6 careers planned and two start-up ideas that I am working on.

If there’s a challenge Campaigners face when selecting a career, it isn’t that we lack talent or options or drive, it’s that there are so many things out there that are just cool. Chief among Campaigners’ talents is our people skills. And while Thinking types may be better at applying logic to systems and machines, Campaigner personality types are able to apply that same logic to human interactions and networks, using our exceptional social perception to find out what makes people tick. 

In Aggregate

Few personality types are as creative and charismatic as Campaigners. Known for our idealism and enthusiasm, Campaigners are good at dealing with unexpected challenges and brightening the lives of those around us. Campaigners’ imagination is invaluable in many areas, including our own personal growth.

This freaking personality test helped me understand me, I’m moving forward and upward in this knowledge and making better decisions. 

I’m low-key mad that the fictitious Campaign characters they use were Petta Mellark (The Hunger Games), Carrie Bradshaw (Sex and the City) and Willy Wonka (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). What does this say about me!?
